BIOL2410L — Principles of Biology: Genetics Laboratory
Introduces the fundamental principles of heredity and uses the scientific method to understand and solve genetic questions in the laboratory. Emphasis is placed on transmission genetics, molecular genetics, genomics, and biotechnology, with work focused on discussion and problem-solving activities. Students must engage with primary literature (e.g., written paper or annotated bibliography). Students must give oral presentations. Wet lab work is not required.
