[Previously as: EMSI 288] Prepares currently licensed paramedics for advancement into critical care roles. The curriculum covers the current best practices in out-of-hospital critical care and retrieval medicine. Students participate in high fidelity simulations and lecture sessions preparing them to take the International Board of Specialty Certifications Critical Care Paramedic Certification (IBSC CCP-C) or Flight Paramedic Certification (IBSC FP-C) examination. Current licensure and employment as a New Mexico Paramedic or equivalent required (licensed and employed in another state). Permission required. Graded: Letter Grade. pring. Ten
