GRHS223 — Microgreen and Fodder Production

Experience and instruction in controlled-environment production of microgreens and fodder for human and livestock nutrition. Students experiment with growing various seeds, using industry-standard methodology, to produce highly nutritious products while using very little water or fertilizers. Students gain experience in all stages of the growing process, from seed to post-harvest, learn to identify challenges such as mold, fungus, and poor seed quality, and design a growing plan for maximizing yields.
