MAST1130 — Intravenous (IV) Therapy Training
[Previously as: MAST 111] A course designed to equip healthcare professionals with the introductory knowledge and skills that are necessary to safely and effectively administer intravenous therapies. Participants learn the fundamentals of IV therapy, including indications, contraindications, equipment selection, insertion techniques and complication management. Participants engage in hands-on practice sessions using simulation equipment to simulate real-world scenarios. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, infection control measures and patient safety.
