PHED1420 — Stretch/Relax: Strength, Stretch and Relaxation
[Previously as: HPER 154L] The focus of this class is on progressive strengthening, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to stimulate and tone sluggish muscles. Students learn correct body position and exercise technique. The body’s natural breathing rhythms are explored to decrease unwanted tensions and energy blockages. Students are required to be at least 16 years old to enroll in this course. May be taken twice for degree or certificate credit. Graded: Letter Grade. Occasionally. Two
