[Previously as: HPER 134L] This class is designed for the beginning as well as the continuing student. Emphasis is placed on strengthening and toning the abdominal muscle group, muscles surrounding the hips, and thigh muscles. Activities Include core strengthening exercises, mat work, and the use of the fitball, exercise tubing and the medicine ball. Students are encouraged to work at their own fitness level in a noncompetitive environment. Students are required to be at least 16 years old to enroll in this course.
