Nursing: Practical
Certificate Nursing: Practical (E91) This program is designed to prepare the graduate to function with the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for the role of the beginning practical nurse to provide care in a variety of health care settings. The program is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. This nursing program is recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), since 2020. Work and Employment Licensed practical nurses assist in patient care with other interprofessional members under the direction of registered nurses, physicians, dentists or podiatrists.
