This course focuses on equipping college students with the requisite skills needed for success in higher education. Topics include the following items: study skills, active listening, note taking, critical thinking, learning online, communication, academic persistence and choosing an area of study. In addition, this class will require students to engage with student support services offered at SEARK, such as Tutoring Central, TRiO, or Career Services.
