ART 2410 - Ceramics I ART 2410 - Ceramics I This studio course is primarily concerned with the essential elements of ceramic design, emphasizing visual communication and problem-solving using various construction methods, including pinch, coil, slab building, and throwing on the wheel. The course relates visual arts content to social, cultural, and historical contexts by examining ceramic forms in both contemporary art and design and in different cultural and historical contexts. Students will learn the necessary techniques and processes that will prepare them to move on to the next level. Minimum Grading: Letter General Education Cultural Studies-Visual & Performing Arts
