ELAP 1535 - Electrical Apprenticeship 2A ELAP 1535 - Electrical Apprenticeship 2A This course provides the electrical apprentice foundational knowledge needed for a career as a Journeyman electrician. Topics include AC circuit theory, three phase circuit theory, branch circuits, feeders, and services. The application of the National Electrical Code (NEC) is incorporated throughout the course. The Wyoming Electrical Apprenticeship program requires a total of 576 hours of educational component and 8,000 hours of working component to become eligible to sit for the Journeyman exam. This course provides 72 hours of the 144 hours of the annual learning component for Wyoming Electrical Apprentices that compliments the 2000 hour per year working component. Students must have completed ELTR 1525 Electrical Apprenticeship 1B with C or better. Minimum Grading: Letter
