PSYC 2230 - Sports and Exercise Psychology PSYC 2230 - Sports and Exercise Psychology This course provides students with an introduction to the theoretical and applied aspects of the psychology of sport and exercise. Students explore both historical and contemporary developments in the field as well as examine human behavior within the context of sport, exercise, and physical activity. Topics for this course include leadership, coaching, group processes, techniques for performance enhancement, promoting wellness, psychopathology in sport, and contemporary issues in psychology. Prerequisites: PSYC 1000 General Psychology with a C or better, or instructor consent Minimum Grading: Letter
