STAT 2070 - Introductory Statistics for the Social Sciences STAT 2070 - Introductory Statistics for the Social Sciences This course presents the central ideas of descriptive statistics and statistical inference as applied to the social sciences, including graphs, averages, sampling, estimation, hypothesis-testing and relationships between variables. A statistical software package is introduced. Students cannot receive credit in more than one of the following: STAT 2050, STAT 2070.

Prerequisites: MATH1400, MATH1000, MATH1450
