MUS 0003A — Ear Training I
Unit: 1 Prerequisite: Completion of MUS 10 with grade of "C" or better or equivalent knowledge of music notation Advisory: Concurrent enrollment in MUS 6A and MUS 40A Hours: 44 (18 lecture, 26 laboratory) This course applies and develops materials of MUS 6A used for musical analysis and dictation of rhythms, intervals, chords and melodies plus sight singing of short, simple diatonic melodies.
