This course will provide a holistic understanding of the factors influencing mental health across early adulthood, middle adulthood, and older adulthood populations, considering biological, psychological, social and cultural influences. Students will explore psychosocial risk and protective factors, mental health conditions, and possible interventions for diverse adult and aging populations. End-of-life topics, including grief, loss, bereavement, palliative care, and hospice care will be explored.
