Topics include the history of UAS, regulations, remote sensors, imagery equipment, industry and societal implications, career outlook, ethical considerations, and hands-on experience with the components required to operate a small UAS. This course will prepare students for safe operation of small UAS and provide the necessary knowledge and understanding needed to apply for the Small Remote Pilot Certification under Federal Aviation Regulations Part §107.
