This course offers a broad overview of the human service field. Topics of study inc lude the history of human services, theoretical approaches to human service work, human service systems, ethics, and future trends. The course provides a well-rounded look at the many career options available in human services and discusses the challenges that human -service workers face in day-to-day work.
