BHHS 225 — Practicum I

This practicum course is required for all students matriculated in the associate’s degree program . It is designed to give students a structured experience in the field of human services through field work in a local organization. As part of the practicum experience, students will examine their own interests and preferences, learn how to use supervision effectively, and familiarize themselves with their host organization. Prerequisite(s): BHHS-100, BHHS-205, BHHS-210, BHHS-220, ENGL-100 or ENGL-101, Department Approval Corequisite(s): none
