CARD 100 — Introduction to Cardiovascular Tech
This course is designed to provide students with an overview of cardiovascular procedures, the history of cardiovascular medicine, professional organizations and affiliations, internships, legal and ethical responsibilities in patient care, clinical indications for cardiac testing, medical terminology, HIPAA standards in healthcare, and living wills. Prerequisite(s): ENGL-100 or ENGL-101, BIOL-132 Corequisite(s): BIOL-138
