CARD 115 — Electrocardiogram

3 cr. This course emphasizes electrocardiogram (ECG) dysrhythmia recognition in the health care setting. Review of the cardiac conduction system and its relation to me chanical events in the cardiac cycle will provide the basis for understanding interpretation of cardiac rhythm strips and 12 lead electrocardiograms. Assessment of normal and abnormal rhythms will be completed. Prerequisite(s): CARD program acceptance, BIOL-138 Corequisite(s): none
