CARD 171 — Echocardiography I Lab
This laboratory is designed to provide a simulation experience in which students will learn patient set -up and preparation, echo machine set -up, and general preparation for the echocardiographic procedure. Students will apply didactic concepts from CARD -165 and CARD-170 to assist in their understanding of how to care for and scan echocardiography patients. Students will learn all the major e chocardiographic windows and views. General troubleshooting concepts of the echocardiographic machine will also be covered. Prerequisite(s): CARD-100, CARD-105, CARD-120, HLTH-155, PHYS-110. Corequisite(s): CARD-115, CARD-165, CARD-170
