CNMS 120 — Digital Art I
This introductory course will focus on the creation and manipulation of digital images using the industry standard software for digital imaging. Topics covered will include: additive and subtractive color theory, scanning and printing, masking and compositing, optimizing images for web, 3D, motion graphics and video. A series of hands-on tasks will further develop the student’s personal expression and critique sensibility. Prerequisite(s): CNMS-111, CNMS-115 or ARTS-130 Corequisite(s): none
