ECED 250 — Curriculum Development for Young

Children 3 cr. This course explores the elements involved in planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate, evidence -based, curriculum for young children. The course highlights the relationship between developmental theory, philosophy, and practice based on the needs of young children. Emphasis is also placed on und erstanding children's developmental stages and developing appropriate learning opportunities, interactions, and environments.
