EMST 201 — Advanced Emergency Medical Technician
II 6 cr. This course is designed to give students, through lecture and laboratory, the foundational -level knowledge and skills necessary to provide advanced emergency medical care and transportation for patients who access the emergency medical system. Students will dem onstrate proficiency with interventions necessary to provide patient care and transportation including patient assessment, airway management and oxygen administration, cardiac arrest management, shock management, medication administration, and emergency care.
