HIST 202 — History of Technology
The History of Technology will help the student better understand the impact of science and technology on our way of life, through discussions of technological change and the inter -relationship with the social, political and economic forces of society. The course will focus on the impact of major 20th Century American technologies such as the automobile, nuclear energy and computers. Prerequisite(s): ENGL-080 or ENGL-101 or appropriate placement Corequisite(s): none
