HLTH 210 — Introduction to Healthcare Informatics
3 cr. This course will provide students with an overview of the depth and breadth of informatics in healthcare. Informatics is the intersection of information science, computer/technology science, and healthcare science. This intersection promotes healthcare decision making specific to the patient by ensuring the communication between patient data and information and healthcare providers.
