HORT 290 — Landscape Design

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of landscape design as it applies to residential and small scale commercial landscapes. Included are the study of site evaluation, plan graphics, plant and landscaping materials selection, business aspects of landscape design and the principles of formal and informal design. Students prepare sketches and finished designs. Prerequisite(s): HORT-110, HORT-200, HORT-210 Corequisite(s): none Hospitality Management Courses (HSPM)
