HVAC 120 — Basic Refrigeration
Basic Refrigeration prepares students for entry -level positions in the industry through theory, demonstration and hands -on practice in a simulated workplace environment . The areas of instruction include safety, tools, commercial refrigeration equipment, refrigeration cycles, compressors, evaporators, all associated c ontrols (both electrical and mechanical), and basic electrical theory. Prerequisite(s): HVAC program acceptance Corequisite(s): MATH-040 or appropriate placement
