MACH 255 — CNC Programming

4 credits · 4 hours

This course is divided into five units, consisting of Advanced Computer Numerical Control (CNC) operations and programming, and four other areas of study. They are metallurgy and materials, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Quality Control (QC), an integration of various CAD (Computer Aided Design) programs, and CAM (Computer Assisted Manufacturing) programs (Solidworks and Camworks). Students will complete a capstone project to validate all skills attained in the program. Prerequisite(s): MACH-205, MACH-206 Corequisite(s): MACH-256
