MACH 265 — Advanced CNC Machining and

Programming Practices 7 cr. This course is divided into five units, consisting of Advanced Computer Numerical Control (C NC) operations and programming, metallurgy and materials, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Quality Control (QC), an integration of various CAD (Computer Aided Design) programs, and CAM (Computer Assisted Manufacturing) programs (Solidworks and Camworks). Students will work on projects in each of these units . Projects will integrate CAD (Computer Aided Design) programs and CAM (Computer Assisted Manufacturing) programs (Pro CAM, Solid Works, CAM Works). Students will complete a capstone project to validate all skills attained in the program. Prerequisite(s): MACH-215 Corequisite(s): none
