MATH 116 — Foundations of Mathematics for Teachers
II 3 cr. This is the second of a two -course sequence for future teachers designed to deepen their conceptual understanding of mathematics. Topics will include problem solving that involves ratio and proportion, applying algebra to percents and formula usage, mathematics of data collection and chance, ge ometry as shapes and transformations of shapes, and geometry of measurement.
