MUSI 250 — Kodaly Principles in Action
This course provides a 'hands -on' introduction to Kodály Music Education and its classroom use to build musicianship sk ills. Course work will include experienced-based ear training, sight singing, music analysis, and methodology. Participants will explore adapting the Kodály philosophy to their own teaching while executing lesson plans they have drafted during the week i n a peer setting. Students will work online before and after the live portion of the course. This course is meant to provide a stepping stone toward a more in -depth certification course in Kodály Music Education.
