Associate in Arts in Liberal Studies with a Focus in History The associate in arts degree in Liberal Studies with a focus in History is designed to provide a foundation of study that p repares students to transfer to four -year colleges and universities. The curriculum is built on general education classes, supplemented with courses on history and other social sciences. This focus is excellent preparation for a major in history at the ba ccalaureate level which could lead to careers in law, teaching, government, public relations, museum work and many other areas.
