MUS-1020 - Music Appreciation (A) MUS-1020 - Music Appreciation (A) This course introduces non-music majors to the elements of music, forms, and styles as they survey major composers and their works within the western music tradition. Important influences to this tradition are discussed including political, historic, social, religious, philosophical, artistic, and economic realities. Students are required to attend a variety of musical performances. This course satisfies the General Education Arts requirement. List Course
