NUR-1050 - Introduction to Professional Nursing* NUR-1050 - Introduction to Professional Nursing* Content related to the current health care system and the evolution of nursing provides a framework for introducing foundational nursing principles that guide the profession and promote quality nursing care. Students gain an understanding of academic resources and student success services while exploring the role of the professional nurse. Students planning to petition for the Nursing, AS degree after July 1, 2020 will need to complete NUR-1050. Students must earn a minimum grade of C for all List Course
