BS 216 - Microbiology BS 216 - Microbiology 4 Credit Hours Lecture Hrs. 4 Lab Hrs. 2 This class is a general microbiology class which concentrates on the physiology, genetics and immunology of microorganisms, and on pathogenesis and the nature of microbial diseases. The student will be exposed to the reasons microbes are studied and why they are used in research by looking at aspects of microbiology including basic chemistry, metabolism, epidemiology, cell growth, morphology, and culture methods.
