ED 114 - Introduction to Education Foundations ED 114 - Introduction to Education Foundations 3 Credit Hours Lecture Hrs. 3 This introductory course in education will introduce students to teaching as a career, the role and responsibility of a teacher, contemporary issues in education, historical and philosophical foundations of education. The course will also consist of discussions regarding teacher organizations, teaching skills (or pedagogy) and curriculum. The organization and administration of schools will be discussed.
