PY 218 - ~Life-Span Developmental Psychology PY 218 - ~Life-Span Developmental Psychology 3 Credit Hours Lecture Hrs. 3 This course is designed for students entering the healthcare professions. It provides a survey of human development across the lifespan from conception to death with focus upon biological, cognitive, and social-emotional processes of growth and development. Individual differences, cultural diversity, and non-normative development for each stage of development will be examined. Emphasis will be placed upon theoretical perspectives and practical application of the concepts of the theories. This course will not substitute for ED 218 at Southern.
