SM 110 - Aesthetics Clinical Practicum SM 110 - Aesthetics Clinical Practicum 3 Credit Hours Lecture Hrs. 0 Lab Hrs. 24 (Clinical) Students will apply theoretical knowledge acquired in theory classes to hands-on clinical practice in esthetics. In a supervised clinical setting, students will develop and refine the skills required of a professional esthetician, including comprehensive skin analysis, customized facial treatments, facial massage techniques, back facials, hair removal methods such as waxing, and professional makeup application. Instruction also emphasizes treatment room preparation, client consultation, product selection, infection control, sanitation, safety, and professionalism. Students will gain competency in delivering a full range of esthetic services in accordance with industry standards and state board requirements. As Scheduled Grading Basis Normal Grading Mode
