CDEC 1319 — Child Guidance

This course is an exploration of guidance strategies for promoting pro-social behaviors with individual and groups of children. Emphasis is placed on positive guidance principles and techniques, family involvement and cultural influences. It will include practical application through direct participation with children. This course includes 32 hours of field experience.
