RNSG 1209 — Introduction to Nursing

This course offers an overview of nursing and the role of the professional nurse as a provider of patient-centered care, patient safety advocate, coordinator of care, member of the health care team, and member of the profession. Topics include knowledge, judgment, skills and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to a blocked approach.
