Social Work

Social work is a profession devoted to helping people function the best they can in their environment. Social workers act as advocates for children and families in need, victims of domestic violence, people with disabilities, pregnant teenagers and many other diverse populations. Social workers provide advice, advocacy and support to those who have personal and social problems. Social Workers also work in the community to promote social justice.
