ART 150 — Drawing I
An introduction to the fundamental concepts and techniques of drawing using a variety of black and white media will form the core content of this course. There will be a strong emphasis on introductory perceptual drawing skills such as perspective, spatial relationships, and contrast through line and value. The students will work directly with a still life and will not be drawing from photos. Coursework includes vocabulary development, critical analysis activities and references to historic models of drawing.
