AVIA 131 — Air T raffic Control Systems
This course outlines the development of the Air T raffic Control system along with many of the FAA rules and regulations governing visual and instrument flight. This course includes a review of the intricate procedures, rules, systems and phraseology used today for controlling air traffic and provides a brief look at future requirements in the domestic and international arena. This course is a basic systems course providing current and future pilots, air traffic controllers and individuals pursuing a career in aviation, a background in the National Airspace System. Normally complemented by a field trip to a local air traffic facility.
