ES 250 — Intr oduction to Meteorology
This course is an introduction to the physical elements and processes of weather including a global survey of major climate types. T opics to be investigated include temperature, pressure, moisture and how these elements interact to produce weather and climates. Other aspects of meteorology will be examined including thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, interpretation of weather maps, and climate change.
Prerequisites: MATH 97, MATH 107, MATH 111
