MATH 213 — Calculus for Business & S ocial Sciences
This course introduces the concepts of differential and integral calculus with applications to problems in business and social science. T opics included are limits, derivatives, continuity, integration techniques, logarithmic and exponential functions, and partial derivatives. Computer and/or calculator aided instruction will be used throughout the course; use of a graphing calculator, as recommended by the instructor, is required. The course is designed for transfer students in business and social science; it is not for engineering, mathematics, or physical science majors.
