MATH 290 — Differ ential Equations

This is a first course in ordinary differential equations with applications to the sciences. T opics include first-order differential equations, separation of variables, exact equations, linear equations with constant coefficients, undetermined coefficients, linear independence, LaPlace transforms, boundary value problems, and numerical methods. Students will be required to use CAS systems such as Mathematica and symbolic calculators.
