MGMT 213 — Human Relations in the Workplace

This course draws from principles in the behavioral sciences to equip students with skills that lead to positive human relations in the workplace. Students will explore individual, demographic, and cultural differences to develop broad perspectives that foster collaborative interpersonal relations. T opics include personality, emotional intelligence, communication, motivation, problem solving, team dynamics, conflict resolution, cross-cultural relations, diversity, ethics, and leadership. The course focuses on applying these topics in today’s workplace which consists of diverse social groups.

Prerequisites: ENG 101
