This course will introduce asepsis and sterile techniques applicable within healthcare settings focusing on normal and pathological pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative processes. This synthesized laboratory experience provides students an opportunity to practice sterile processing techniques an procedures while maintaining asepsis and sterile techniques.
