PMT 268 — Intr o to Machining Automation

Automation in manufacturing is a growing component of machining, involving the use of robotics in new and exciting ways every year. This course introduces students to basic robotic features, movements, programming, and part manipulation. Students will use, program, and otherwise manipulate 6 axis robots to move, arrange, and sort objects using Fanuc and Universal Robotics (UR) equipment.
