History The history transfer major provides students with opportunities to earn Associate of Arts (AA) degrees, which transfer to many four-year institutions The history transfer major is appropriate for students who are interested in working in libraries and museums, as well as state and national parks and monuments Many historians go on to become teachers, lawyers, journalists, authors, and even politicians
